28k miles for a 2 years old car is bit high so I think my $28,000 seems to be reasonable enough. What do you guys think?

Take mine for 25.5k with only 8k miles....

You're right. 24-25k is the range I'm willing to go for a 2009 base + sport. I really don't understand why so many dealers still want close to sticker for a 2 year old car. Many aren't willing to budge on price either. Last time I checked, the market for a 2 seat sports car is probably at an all time low given the state of the economy and gas prices.

Supply and demand is what drives pricing. Supply from Japan was disrupted by natural disaster. Supply is low. Go to cars.com or auto trader and filter out your ideal car and see how many actually show up in your area. Then search nationally. I bet there still are not many exact matches nationally. These cars would sell for a few thousand more in a better economy. Prices are low.

Many things have to be considered when evaluating price. Options, transmission type, color, condition, mileage, length of warranty left, location. How much more value is 12 or 18 months of factory warranty worth? Condition is key when trying to determine value. The price difference between 2 identical cars can be thousands apart if one has worn out tires, stone chips, paint work from being abused. Lets say car A is perfect and car B has 75% worn tires and brakes, a few stone chips and is $1000 less expensive. Are you really saving money if car B needs $800-$1000 for tires and $500 in brakes in a 6 months? You would have to pay the $1000-$1300 out of pocket sooner or later for tires and brakes. You can roll in the additional cost of car A into your payments and not worry about future expenses.

There has never been a better time to buy if you can afford it. Just make sure you evaluate each car before buying.

I just noticed you are in Port Washington WI. My husband and I have bought a couple Corvettes from EVS in your neck of the woods. My Z is a AUTO in Chicago and I am selling it. I will PM you a link to my ad on this forum. If you are looking to spend a little less there is another white with sport, manual for $22.5K and 45,000 mi posted also. Good Luck!

Nice, where did you get it from?

Got it from a dealership over here in New Jersey. Best price and condition for a while. Been looking for a G37, G35, and 350z for a couple of months knowing that the 370zs cost (for the miles) are a bit too high, but this 370z came from nowhere and I had to snatch it.
