Question For DEALERS About Allocation Cycle

So you may or may not have read this thread about having a hard time ordering a car.

http://www.the370z.com/nissan-370z-p...roduction.html

What I'm wondering is when exactly do the allocations get handed down by Nissan? All the dealers I spoke to just said "the beginning of the month." But I know for example at Pontiac that it was actually every Saturday; weekly. So at Nissan do allocations come on a specific day at the beginning of the month, say like on July 1, or is it the like the first Saturday of every month, or the first Monday, or what? Or did all 6 dealers I spoke to mislead me, and it is actually a weekly thing?

I want to stay on top of this with the dealers because I do NOT want to take the chance of having to mess with 2012 models. I'm afraid they will change the wheels or something similar, and I do not want that for sure. I like the car just the way it is.

Thanks for you help ---- Bonzo

Allocations are typically done on with in the first week. Nissan provides us with a calendar that comes out every month to let's us know when that time period is going to take place. And then there is a 2 day window.

There is no set day. Like the 3rd of every month. But it's always with in the first week.

I hope that helps.
