What's a fair offer

2010z, auto, sport, no nav.
The web site stats the msrp as 37126
What should I offer?
Has no miles and is a leftover.

Thanks

Low 30's, probably 32k IMO

NCSUPACK09 06-17-2011 08:55 PM

Yeah, Im assuming it is a touring, so I would agree with Push and offer around 32k.

SvR370z 06-18-2011 07:00 AM

It is a touring. Now they tell me the
Msrp is 40k and that the 37k is
True market value. now what should
I do? they clearly aren't moving this car
At 37k but i don't think 32 will get it done

Maybe work to split the difference between where you want to be and where they are. Be prepared to walk away. If they can or will make a better deal they will call you back in. Remember you can always go back and accept the price they offered at a later date. Good luck.

If the MSRP is 40k, you should be buying a 2012 model for 37k. They are out of their minds if they think it's worth more than low, low 30's.

$34k max according to truecar.com

They should be more motivated to sell however. I wouldn't pay over $33k for it.

Bro,

If u really want the car, and they have your color, and options (10,sport,auto), 37K is right on the invoice or slightly above it. Go for it.. Haggling over 1K and spending 6 hours at a dealership is not my idea of fun. If you are pretty serious about it, and u wanna enjoy a Z, have your cash ready, and they will sell it at invoice.. worked for me
