Nissan Helps Storm Victims

To make a long story short, my car was damaged in one of the tornadoes in the southeastern states. I was looking at letting my insurance pay me for the damage and trading in my 370Z on a new one (insurance check making up the difference between what its worth and what the trade would be in the current condition).

I found a car at the dealer, we didnt come to a good price, so I walked away. He calls me back and tells me about this new program Nissan is doing to help anyone who received car damage due to the recent storms.

Basically, up to $1500 off invoice (think this is VPP pricing?) and can be combined with any other offer.

Went back to the dealer with this info today and got them to drop to $30,400for a new 2010 Base 6MT + Sport Package Pearl White(my favorite) that is still sitting in the showroom.

Think its a pretty good deal so I am going to jump on this. I'd much rather have a car that hasn't had any body work on it. Trade in my car with the storm damage plus insurance check and leaving with a new 2010.

What do you guys think?

Thats a very good deal, and a hard find. 2010 still sitting around huh? Sick! You basically got the car for invoice minus hold back, something dealers dont normally do.

Yeah I lucked out on the find. Was driving my wife to the mall (we just moved to a new area) and I saw a red '09 sitting on the lot. Stopped to look and the dealer said "What do you think about white?"

Little did I know...
