OTD, monthly payment etc..

I don't understand this concept of OTD and monthly payments

For example, for a manual 370z w/sportpackage, if I put down 10k, and the monthly payment is about $500 for 60months, the total amount paid is 40k. But if you do a OTD price is almost 10k lower. Why is it like that? How do you pay for the OTD price? Why is there such a big price gap between those two different ways?

The OTD price doesnt include interest?

You're comparing apples and oranges.
OTD just means the price including tax, title and license. You can still finance this.
