Just bought a 370Z w/ sport package and extras for $30K

Hey everyone! :hello: Well after conducting hours of research and sleepless nights I finally bought a Pearl White 370Z. Thanks to everyone here, I was able to negotiate down to $30K even. That's also including Sport package, trunk and floor mats, and destination charge.
The sales manager I spoke with told me they were losing money but because of my military status they would bite the bullet. My sales guy was a Vietnam Veteran so that also helped  I received it the 15th and was only able to drive it for several hours since I had to catch my plane back to Iraq.
I just want to thank everyone on here for their help and very informative threads. This my first new car and I'll enjoy for years to come. Now what should be my first mod :icon17:

Thanks! I was looking into the Stillen exhaust but the fitment issued made me a little leery.

Congrats on the new car and the great deal!
Pardon my ignorance, but what is the reasoning behind buying a car now if you knew you were going back to Iraq? Would it not have been easier/cheaper to wait until you got back?

Well the good news is that I'm only in Iraq for another 2 months. When I come back I just want to be able to get in the car and turn the key and not deal with any hassles. I come back in June just in time for summer! :icon17:

Your first mod should be you and getting your *** back in the drivers seat.

Awesome

That is great! I've never believed a dealer would lose money on a car but with that price I think they probably did. You military folks deserve everything you can get, so way to go!

Zeto 04-18-2009 05:37 PM

Thanks guys! I really can't wait to come home!

Stay safe!

I believe the military discount is essentially the end of the line in terms of cost saving......the ultimate price discount available(?). There is even a deal where the military will arrange the price for you and lock in the deal (probably required with some dealerships).

Good people serving the country deserve the best!
