Get that 4.0 Son!

z350boy 12-03-2008 12:20 PM

Don't know if it'll be worth it for me. Even if money were not an issue. My '05 is running 400whp with lots of goodies. I was looking at a Porsche and feel even that isn't a big enough step up for the money . I may need to go to a Lamborghini....not that outrageous considering they are selling just over 100K and still dropping!!

Spring/Summer time is going to suck balls...

Men... I have a 07 350z Manual... My wife didn't have a clue of how to drive a manual transmission, I teach her how to do it in a Parking Lot. She learned in less than 3 days, she didn't burn clutch, over rev, nothing, well it happened but not that often, and yes I got pissed. Every time the car turned off I was very pissed, but you know it was part of the training jeje. Everybody when was learning how to drive an Manual passed for the same situation. so, I was confident and believe in her capabilities awwww ( bah ):icon23:.

No but seriously it is a must to do if you don't have another car or something 'cause any emergency or something. :tiphat:

azn370z 12-07-2008 03:09 AM

I'm planning to keep my 350z so march of 2010 is when i plan to buy the 370z. I should have my 350z paid off this summer.

CrownR426 12-07-2008 12:23 PM

I'll rob the local 7-11 then rob the local shoprite.
And go to the dealership with cash and work out a deal.
If not I'll just rob the dealership too! :D

vnarang 12-07-2008 12:53 PM

Pretty much hope the 370z is reasonable price and hope i get a good trade in value.

I sincerely doubt that you would accumulate $33k by robbing a convenient store and a supermarket. Try the credit union :)

Lol, somebody's been watching too many bank heist movies...

nogoodname 12-09-2008 09:40 AM

^^ let's do the dumb method and steal a Big Rig like in F&F 1 and sell the electronics from the load...LOL

z350boy 12-09-2008 09:43 AM

Why not do what Wall Street is doing.....ASK FOR A "BAIL-OUT"!!!!
Afterall if enough of us buy 370's we could single handedly revive the economy!!!!

nogoodname 12-09-2008 09:46 AM

we need a bailout for the 370's, these Z's need a home

I remember playing monopoly the other day, we had to combine some of our monopoly money to bailout the bank (had no money left on the tray)......hahahahahah

I'd have to part out and sell my Evo.

I'll also have to kiss the wife's *** until I wear a hole through it.

You have a beautiful Evo, shouldn't have a problem selling it. Are you seriously considering a Z34?

Definitely considering it.

I'm a huge Z fanatic. I already tried convincing my wife to let me trade the Evo for an '08 Z but that didn't fly.

Ha I didn't mean it as a knock on the Z at all, I just know him as an authority on the Evo from my350 and was surprised at the implication.

Relationships are about compromises, just remind her of all the things you have given up just for her over the years...

jrurbin 12-11-2008 03:55 AM

Just got my RN degree so its on like donkey kong!!

If I bring that up she'll bring up the fact that I wanted SO BAD to trade in my (well, hers according to her) '03 350Z for my Evo and she actually let me. Then she'll say I'm stuck with it now. Then she'll say how impractical a 2 door sports car is (even though we packed a week's worth of **** AND both my dogs in the Z).

I actually think she's cracking a little on the 370Z. She's not being straight up blatant like she was about the 350 when I'd suggest trading in the Evo.

We'll see what happens.

1) I'd have to start bringing in brown bag lunches for work
2) Quit buying stuff for my girlfriend
3) Quit buying stuff for myself
4) Save a couple of months for a down payment

I'd even sell my left kidney on the black market for a 370Z. Hell, I'd give up my left nut if someone wants it.

Why is it always the left nut that goes? lol I feel sorry for all the orphaned right nuts in the world.

diskreet 12-13-2008 02:14 PM

I have to finish up this useless degree I'm getting. After that I just have to wait to test drive one to see if it really does work for me.

shumby 12-13-2008 02:18 PM

i am just waiting for the summer and for my house to sell wooot wooot oh and the wifes permission

xDIEGOx 12-13-2008 02:52 PM

I have to payoff my truck which is about $10k. I'll pay that in about a year. That also gives me a reason not to pick up a 1st year production model. :D

Yeah I was gonna try and pay off my $8k car note and pick up a first year model, but it doesnt look like thats gonna happen. May very well end up with a 2nd year model. Even in the 2nd year I don't think there will be too many of them on the road down here. For once I'm glad I don't live somewhere like Cali.
