Dealer Offer for 2011 Nismo 370z
Hi all,
I'm new to the forum and hope that I'm posting my question in the correct section. I've started negotiations for a 2011 370z Nismo and the dealer has offered the vehicle to me for $38,854. I believe this is approximately $1000 over dealer invoice. Is this a good deal or should I attempt to negotiate the price down further? Thanks for your insight! Oh, the dealer is in S. Cali |
Give him nothing more than invoice. Anything more is a rip off. Anything under invoice is even better but most dealers will not let it go below invoice.

im assuming you mean corona CA? check some of the supporting dealers on this forum. I believe they are in CA. They often post really good deals and agree with CELL. definitely not more than invoice.

Gents,
Thanks for your insight. I've determined that dealer invoice is $37,353. That's the price I'll work towards. Is there anything else I should be aware of during the negotiation process? Thanks |

Dont shoot for invoice. If invice ois 37,353, shoot for 35,500. At worst you will end up back at invoice. If you start at invoice you will end up higher. |
Very good point. That price will probably knock them out of their chair but at least they will know I mean business.

Invoice is fair IMO and what I would pull the trigger on if I could not negotiate for a lower price.
Good Luck... the NISMO is Sweet. |
Thanks All. I will report back in the next several days to let you know how things go!!!

I'm convinced a new 2011 should go for about $500 under invoice. My 2010 was $1500 under.

Are there any differences between the 2010 and 2011 models?

All....
Just wanted to provide a quick update. I was able to talk the dealer down to $37,500, which in my mind was a fair price. However, my 2008 G37 trade in got in the way of the deal. It's a lease and I have 10 payments left. The dealer was going to buy the car outright but the price they offered was not what I expected. Long story short is that I will have to wait until I have 3 to 4 lease payments left on the G. At that point, I'll be eligible for NMAC's lease pull ahead program. You all will be hearing from me later this year when I get ready to pull the trigger. Thank you all for your input!!!! |
