2011 370z Below Invoice Advice

Long time lurker first time poster here... I could really use your guys advice. I've been in the market for a Z for the past couple weeks now and trying to find what I want locally is tough... Anyway, I've been dealing with a local sales person and they offered me a 2011 370Z Gun Metal, manual, base w/ sport for $500 off invoice ($31,803). Is this a good deal and should I jump on it or should I wait until the new year for maybe something better? I did email another dealership asking if they could beat this price but we'll see.

Any advice would be appreciated! Oh also, the person actually emailed me over their invoice pricing for the 2011 and I'd be happy to post it later if anyone cares to see it.

Email the fleet manager or the internet manager of all of the dealerships in town and see who gives you the best deal. You can usally do better that way. Instead of just going through a regular sales person who is going to have to get any deal approved from a manager anyway.
Good luck! You will love a new Z!

Yes please!!

I also live in Vegas and will be ready to buy my Z in the next 6-8 weeks. I find that the guys over at United Nissan are far more willing to talk invoice pricing, and they're generally friendlier than Dessert Nissan, I find.

Sounds like a good price though - that's basically exactly what I want. I can't decide on a damn color though - Red, Blue or gunmetal.

Thanks everyone for the feedback! I decided to hold off for a few months to save up a bit more for the down payment. Also, I really want a MB 370z and I'm hoping one of the three dealerships can get one in stock soon w/ the specs i want :) @Super Tanooki, thanks for the heads up about United and Desert. After talking to the three of them, i'm definitely favoring either United or Planet.

Here is the invoice pricing that I was sent if it can help anyone. It's for a 2011 Gun Metal, manual, base w/ sport

When you're good and ready to commit to buying, I'm sure they could knock $1000 off invoice. You might be pushing it, but I noticed when I was ready to make a deal, they did an about face and started getting closer to my asking price.

Planet and Henderson nissan are alot easier to deal with..desert nissan are asses people..

Ah I totally forgot about Henderson Nissan. I'll have to give them a try when I'm ready to buy in Feb. And I totally agree about the desert nissan people... I was dealing with one of their internet sales people and after going back and forth slightly, she "suggested" I just go to another dealership. I couldn't believe I read that but that just means they won't get my business.

Now if you were to get it without the sports package, how much would the invoice be?
