NJ Dealerships & Pricing
Hey folks,
I have been lurking on the board for a while now to hear what everyone has to say about the new Z etc. So I finally got to test drive one over the weekend red but no sport package, which was unfortunate since I wanted to see the synchro rev match in person. Anyway I keep a watch on what dealers have what stock and it looks like I will be purchasing in the next 2 weeks or so. I want Sport, Touring, Nav, splash, carpets etc 6MT. So I get done with my test drive at Lynnes in Bloomfield and the kid says do I want to look at the numbers and I say sure he comes back with the usual new model/model year so its MSRP - "what do you think sir" - now having been following the threads I said look unless your at Invoice + 500 were not going to continue talking....... so off he goes and he comes back and says "we can do those numbers, you want to do the deal today?" So clearly the economy is biting and dealers are being very accomodating....:p What are folks in NJ seeing pricing wise and for those that have already purchased which dealers are more "helpful" than others Thanks in advance |
I bought mine from Team Nissan (Vineland) at invoice. They were easy to work with. I dealth with the General Sales Manager. My advice to you would be - try to deal with managers (sales manager or dealer manager) because the little guys (sales person) have a tendency to give you the run around sometimes.

Hi AK, ya followed your whole "How I scored 3.99%" thread. So vineland gave you invoice as in no extras other than tax, title and delivery??
|
Team Nissan in Vineland is my closest nissan dealer. Although i have never been there. I always go to Turnersville or Woodbury, where I bought my altima. I will have to stop by and see what they can do.

AK370Z, ShiftZ I got mine at Admiral salesman is Woody, they ordered it in for me. I had a deal with team but it fell through, they tried changing it up on me. I highly recommend Admiral for no haggling, no bs games. I've bought a lot of cars over the years and it was a really smooth transaction.
I called so many other dealers locally to try and work deals and they just want to play the games. In this economy they buyer is in the power position! |

invoice + tax and tags, they got the car in for me also. exactly what I wanted. I'm very satisfied. Also the paperwork was very quick, some dealers like to drag it out for hours!
|
whats interesting is they have no 370z's in stock according to their website
so i guess they have to order it no matter what... or get it from another dealer somehow... hmm |
This is true, but what's the difference as long as you get exactly what you want?? It took a few days,no big deal! A solid deal is a solid deal, better then the typical south jersey dealer circle jerk.

Admiral is really close to me but they always seem shady to me. For some reason I never felt comfortable there. I asked one of the salesman (in admiral)that if I could order the sports package with base Z. He told me (without even researching or opening a catalog), "NO, you can't order sports package without Touring." I simply walked away. That's how they lost the respect. This was about a month before I sent the emails out. I did have appointment with them right after Team. Team gave me deal I wanted and I closed it.

I think all car dealers are shady! haha... I just walked in there told them exactly what I wanted and what I wanted to pay for it and they made it happen.
It's all about the deal, doesn't matter where you get it, as long as the numbers are right and there's no none-sense. I also emailed a lot of dealers trying to work out a deal, I'm still getting phone calls! AK did you put an exhaust on yet? |
no exhaust yet.
