Seems like a good deal to me..

Went to a dealer about 3.5 hrs away. 2010 370z Touring AT (splash guards, illuminated kick plates, carpet floors, carpet trunk) at $34787+TTL.

Felt like it was a good deal but the logistics of going back home while I drove by myself in my pickup didnt work for me. Is this a good price? I negotiated them down from a initial $39K and after the third no from me they went to $34787. I feel it is a good price.

Also the salesman offered to follow me home in my truck so I could purchase that night (approx 9pm) and did mention they had about 30 2010's (the most in the southwest). They sounded extremly eager to sell almost like they were going to make a killing off me. I just couldnt drive 10hrs more in one night to purchase. Also they calculated $650 and $700 as destination fees as they said it is a two part process.

Yeah..seems a bit high.

I hope you held out a bit longer. I strongly believe you could get them down more. I purchased my 09' 370z Touring AT earlier this year. Went with 09' do to the fact that no difference really between it and the 10' unless you get nav. They were trying to sell it for $37,110 with 208miles on it and same additions. I knew I could get a much better deal. I also traded in my 03' Frontier crew cab with 86,000+miles on it, hail damage. They only wanted to give me $2,500 for it. I told them I dont care what you give me for the trade I am only planning to pay $23,000 for this vehicle..drive out. I dont care how you get it there, you make it happen then we have a deal. On paper it showed they some how lowered the price to $29,--- then gave me about $8,000 for my truck. Which made it $21,--- so at the end +ttl $23,500 I paid $500. I drove it out at $23,000. If possible DO NOT finance through the dealer. Check around for a low APR in your area, mine is at 3.2%. Just do your homework, talk with the manager(GM) and minimize the middle men as much as possible. Dont look at MSRP, work from invoice. Just stick to how much your comfortable paying. Good Luck.

good point...work from Invoice price not MSRP

I belive the invoice price listed on this forum for 2010 370z Touring AT is $33,464 + destination fee of $720 => $33404. I did tell them I was looking to pay around $33K. I'll follow your advice and tell them to get to that price or I'll buy somewhere else. Thanks PRNtoxication.

We are almost getting into the 2011 models now. You can do better than 33K. You should get at least 1k below invoice, so I would start out with an offer of 32K and go from there.

Well I told the dealership if they could get to 33K I would buy it. The sales mgr told me that they could not. They have like 26 2010 370z which is alot. I'll keep looking I may call them in December to see if they can go lower than $34787. From what I calculated with the options added this price is about invoice. They dont want to go lower than invoice. I just don't see why not they have 26 to sell and the 2011s are coming in. Also are splash guards important?

If they wont go below invoice, you don't want to buy it from them. You can definitely find a dealer that will do better than invoice. Just keep looking around.

As for the splash guards, I think it depends on how the winters are where you live. We got a lot of snow around DC last year, so they threw down a lot of sand and salt on the roads. I have some scratches on the side of my car near the rear because of sand getting kicked up. I guess if you drive on roads that have a lot of dirt or gravel then you might want them too. I'm planning on getting them this Christmas, but wish I would have had them last winter...

I agree. Definitely hold out. They will call you soon with a better offer. Probably before the end of the month.
