just wanted to share with you guys what Surf City Nissan told me:

Quote:

On the 370's we have a $3,000 Mark Up but we have no problem shaving that off. Selling you the car for MSRP $40,320 15K miles a year, Drive-offs $1,040, 39months@ 657++ your resdual would be $23,788. Below is a configuration of the car. Please let me know what you think?
my reply:

Thank you for contacting me. A markup on the Z is absurd, in fact selling at MSRP is still quite silly, maybe if the car came out last year.

Good luck.

You are going to find the dealers that are willing to cut prices rather quickly. Just keep searching. Sometimes it helps to even make up offers. I did that with the dealership I went to. All the dealerships stuck to their price until I finally called one and said blah blah blah I am having it shipped for 39.5 but if you can match that I will go through you so I dont have to wait the couple weeks for it to get here and they said sure come on in and matched it. Play hardball but be reasonable is my only advice.

i want somewhere between 500 and 1000 under invoice and MF not exceeding 0.00175. that's my goal. we'll see lol
