Just applied for my Z loan through Pentagon.. It says "Please check back in a few hours for status" .. I hope I get approved! Amazing rate!

I just saved all this info, and hope it works!

I was declined by Penfed =( They said my debt to income ratio was too high.. this is because my last car is still showing as an outstanding loan even though it's been traded in and just hasn't hit my records yet.. What a bunch of crap. Sigh, anyways I went and got a loan from my local bank.. which is still lower than the dealership can offer.

Hello Friends.
I've decided to join this fantastic forum.

I'm thinking about purchasing the new 370z next month.

I just got a quick question for you guys.

Do any of you guys have glare problems due to sun light reflection (the left gauge)?
I heard it's really annoying....

AK370Z, thanks for this post. My loan was approved and the check is coming, just in time for me to pickup my new Z next week....if it is coming as schedule.

I have 0 problem. They have added a black strip for the production model (since they gave the test cars to the magazines). Also, I spend more time looking at RPMs than how much gas I have in the car ;) :driving: .

My Penfed Check came in Today. Nissan's best rate at 6.9 can take a hike :)

I applied at PenFed a few days ago. When I check the status, it still says APPROVED (just like it did 5 minutes after applying). The status hasn't changed. Is there some step I'm missing? Do you need to call them? Do they contact you?

Nope, they should contact you more than likely. Me, I just went to the local branch...

I had to Fax them the two most recent paycheck stubs. My status was the same until I called them and them was told to fax in the stubs

I wanted to stop in and say thanks for the penfed tip. I wound up not going with a 370 after all, but I did use penfed for my loan and am saving a bunch of money because of it. For my loan, the loan status was "pending" for 2 days or so, and I was kind of bummed because our (wife and I) credit is really good... but it eventually was approved and we picked up the check today. Thanks again guys!

How much does the average buyer of a 370z make an hour $15-30 bucks?

Ok now lets break it down to what Mr. Got a great F*in deal actually spent to get this great deal of his,.....:excited:

1st--- Invoice price.... on the computer for making that fancy letter and sending all the emails ----1 hour

2nd--- read all 8 different dealer websites looking for the sales manager name to email the offer ---to 2hrs

3rd--- Driving 150miles to and back from carmax doing the speedlimit
----2.5hrs
4th 3days of waiting for all emails ----72hrs

5th appraisal at carmax 1hr

6th gas to and from $25 bucks

7th application fee for credit union $20 bucks

8th and 9th application to nissan and local bank for rates -----1.5hrs

sum it all up you spend so far $45 dollars + 80hrs of your time and lets not count it + 2hrs to pick up your car at the dealer = 82hrs of work +$45 expenses.

avarege buyer makes $20per hour = 1600+ $45 = $1645 actual spent time you just wasted when you could have walked in to a dealer asked to see the invoice given an offers lets say 100 over invoice

Even if you had to stick it out with the 5.74% rate instead of the 3.99% rate how much more money did you save by doing your homework?

If you would finance the car for 60month and make every single payment you would end up paying $1540 in interest + 100 over invoice that you agreed to dealer making your total financing purchase $35,000.00
You spent $1640 which is 5 dollars less than if you would have done all your work... and if you make extra payments it could be even less interest paid and save you the time and hassle of doing all of this.

Now call the dealers do it your way... but on this one this guy got :owned:

What you lookin' at? You all a bunch of f***n' a**holes. You know why? You don't have the guts to be what you wanna be? You need people like me. You need people like me so you can point your f****n' fingers and say, "That's the bad guy." So... what that make you? Good? You're not good. You just know how to hide, how to lie. Me, I don't have that problem. Me, I always tell the truth. Even when I lie. So say good night to the bad guy! Come on. This is the last time you gonna see a bad guy like this again, let me tell you. Come on. Make way for the bad guy. There's a bad guy comin' through! Better get outta his way! :owned: "Tony Montana"

Dont hate the player hate the game :gtfo2: if you can't handle the truth....

So basicly your say every hr of my day is equal to how much I make of work ??? I mean that a pretty dumb way to look at things it's like saying ... " F**k I fell alseep last night I'm already $120~$240 in the hole today!! " Did you even factor in that maybe he did this on Vacation or even at work thus he was actually getting paid of time. The only true I see expense is the drive/gas to Carmax and the Fee to Penfed.

Just talked to someone at PenFed 5 minutes ago and everything is great. I'm just waiting for the vin #. Very easy process. Thanx for the info for the site.
