Got a quote from the a dealer... is it good?

Sorry, I'm new at this and recently got interested in this car.
I got a price for a 370z touring with sport package, NAV, automatic (I don't drive stick) for $36,995.

I had two questions...

1. Is this a good deal?
2. I plan to do a 72 mo financing, $2,000 down. What can I expect my mo.? (741 credit score) maybe 0 apr?

Check out the long thread on car prices -- I think it's stickied. There's one one invoice pricing and also how much individuals paid. Also worthwhile to check Kelley Blue Book - although keep in mind that KBB tends to be inflated, so anything below that isn't bad.

Also, 2009 or 2010? How many miles? If there's miles on it you definitely want it to come in well below involce.

I might add that dealers on here were going several grand below invoice on left over 2009's and at least a grand below on 2010. Remember, around Oct/Nov. the new model year comes out.

Secure financing with your own bank or credit union first, don't tell them how much exactly you are approved for, then wheel and deal.

Good luck!

it's a 2010 model new. I'm thinking of waiting until end of the year since prices drop and better deals appear. gives me time to save a bit more money for a down payment and I can pay less monthly.

That's about $1600 off invoice if it doesn't have any other options, which is about the lowest I've seen mentioned on a 2010 - what color? (I'm looking for black/black.) :)

I don't know about 0% APR though - it doesn't seem like Nissan is offering special rates on the 370Z so I've seen about 5.5%. At 0% you are looking at $500 per month, at 5.5% it would be $590 and don't forget about state taxes.

^^^ Yeah, that's a pretty good deal. You might see if they'll drop it another couple of hundred, but that's a nice price for those options.

if it's the color you want, go for it.

theres no 0% option on the 370z... you could wait til the end of the year, but will the car you want be available then?

That's not a bad price. As others have stated 0% really doesn't happen, good luck i hope you get what you want...
