Help please!

I'm going to a dealer tomorrow to check out a 2009 370z with sports package. It's the only one I found that has the color I want, is 2009, and is brand new.

I believe they have a special for 5k off the retail price which brings it down to $27,000-$28,000 without the tax obviously.

Is this a good price in your minds?

If you can get a 09 370z w/ SP for under $29k then you are doing good. Don't be surprised though if you get there and they tell you the advertised price does not include freight ($720).

You should be at least 1000 below invoice on an in stock 2009!

Ok so I went yesterday and the car was a demo (driven by manager) with 4,000 miles on it.

Again, it is 2009, black, looks clean and brand new, leather seats, wheel locks, and sports package.

We worked the price from $36,000 to $28,000.

What do you guys suggest I do?

eww 4k miles on a T/S... well 4k on any car. That's like 1$ per mile off.....

I wouldn't do it personally, but it's your choice.

Also, I don't care who drove it for those 4k, unless I know them personally and saw them drive it awesome.

Joe21 03-01-2010 03:42 PM

Ya that's really turning me off now that I think about it. The price should be lowered due to the mileage on the car. It's basically used.

I agree, you dont know whos driven the car or how its been driven. It was probably abused durring all those test drives :shakes head:

Most managers are 40+ years old and drive slow anyway.

if its CPO, I would get it for $28K.

4kmi? 27,500 out the door, offer that

I actually offered $26,000 at the start, and went back and forth for hours, literally.

I don't really feel comfortable paying 28k for this one. It's going to be even more with tax and license fees and I just see it being worth it due to the mileage. If the price was lowered, I'd get it done.

Exactly, but the dealer will try to tell you otherwise! Its' NEW. And they will sell it to you for last years MSRP along with a free complimentary jar of vaseline. :rofl2:

I think I'm going to go and get it tomorrow.

I just can't wait around anymore. :(

This is the only one within 100miles radius that is the color I want and the package I want.
