Behold my beautiful car which I never thought I’d own within the next fifteen years:

My price range was under $6,000 and I was expecting to get a 350z that had been abused and had high mileage and a lot of stuff wrong in general. Instead I found this beautiful thing just four hours away. I thought the price had to be wrong or that it was a down payment from a dealership.

To my surprise, the guy just wanted the car gone. He had it listed at $6,500 but lowered it to $5,500 cash. I figured it had to be stolen, or a roller ( which for a roller was still a good deal overall).

Nope. Clean title, just under 100k miles, overall in good shape save a few dings and a dent. She is a base model from 09 that needed a bit of work, but nothing too serious. So I did what any person who’s crazy enough to take an eight hour road trip to another state does, and I loaded up with my guy and his parents and we brought the beast back home on a uhaul. Even with the car fax I was still about 80% sure the car was stolen and hadn’t been reported, but now I have a clean title to the thing in my name. I really couldn’t be happier. She makes me smile constantly.

Can anyone else beat my price of $5,500 for a clean title 370z?

Nicely done! The rear wheels appear to be way out of spec on the offset.

 did you check the trunk? with a UV light? for evidence of the body that had to have been in there?

just get a good detailing before you check, at least you'll have the benefit of doubt

Trunk is too small for a grocery trip, so I don’t guess a body would fit there. The car smells a bit like weed without air fresheners so if it WAS anything illegal I’d guess it was that.

Also never selling. It’ll have to get wrapped around a tree and be irrepairable

Though I haven’t determined the exact issue, has a slight stumble when first started; but quickly smooths out...cel was initially on with cylinder #2 misfire detection...but really runs smooth.
Still sitting until garage is built..after sales tax it was $5250 :tiphat:

Omg nice. I like yours better, keeping a black car clean is a full time job.

hrtbrknprince 09-24-2019 04:37 PM

Seeing these prices makes me feel like I got robbed lol

GothamZ 10-03-2019 10:26 AM

Thats pretty crazy. Congrats on the good deal you got. Its tough to find 350's in that price range that arent beat to hell and back with a billion miles. You did good!

Well, this confirms why I don't care about doing crazy modifications to my Z. Value dropped out the bottom and splattered on the floor.

this is why i didnt sell my Z to get the GTR. the Z became worthless in 2013 when the price dropped to 29,999 for a base.

worth much more to keep it than sell it. plus mine still has some value having every option/package and in the blue they only used for 4 years.
