Real prices for a new 2019 370z Nismo?

Hey all, Im getting ready to pull the trigger on a new 2019 Nismo MT. I realize a lot of factors come into play (trade in/financing/etc), but excluding that, how far off are these selling from msrp? Do they go closer to invoice? Just wanted to get an idea before I start sending out emails. Thanks for any help!

Expect damn near invoice most likely. Weather is starting to get nice. In Nov/Dec you might have talked them down a bit from $45K for one sitting on the lot since August. But now they'll be expecting to move them.

Who knows though? You won't know until you start asking. They won't say yes if you don't ask.

Never been very strong. There's a few different groups (CenTex VQ and Capitol Z Club are two that come to mind). Very different group personas. I haven't been active outside this forum in a few years though.

that is the ONLY way to find out.

I live in se Mich. and saw an add for Nissan saying " you pay what we pay " indicating employee pricing
Don't know if this is nation wide, but wouldn't hurt to ask.

Personally I'd never buy a Nismo new. You're going to take a 20% depreciation almost immediately. Not what you're asking, but it just seems financially really dumb. You can buy one with only a couple thousand miles on it for 35k, with a technically better warranty if it's certified.

Go Used 2019 with less than 1,000 miles and SAVE big!

I got a 19 on March 13 in black. I ended up going 600 miles and getting it. Nismo are only white and black (I think). Anyway, I checked around the best price was so much lower on a used one with just a few hundred miles and you still get the rest of the bumper to bumper warranty.
I even check the internet last week to see if there were any better deals and there were a couple white ones at $34,500 listed internet price with no negotiations. So you could get even less. when I was looking I found 1 in CA for $33K ish, but it was just too far to go after airline ticket and gas driving back.
Looking back, if you can wait until June/July, you will get the best deals on 2019s whether new or used. Go in near the end of the month if possible. BTW I'm now curious to see if Nissan will come out with another Z34 for 2020 with special badging or colors. It might be worth the wait then you can always get a used one like I did. GLW getting one.

I would definitely buy slightly used or CPO if I was looking. Just a better deal over all. Only a couple miles on the car but still newish.

Get some comps on other sites like cargurus, autotrader , and autolist. Then you can set your expectations for a deal.

Good luck with your search!

On second thought, I could make you a deal on mine!

I've only had 2019 for just over a month and it sits in the garage just like my old 300ZX. I take it for a 6 mile trip to town and back once a week and find it hard to justify, especially since my wife has a G37 too. For $25, I listed it on autotrader just to see if there was any interest.
Just a thought!

Hey guys, just an updated. Ended up getting a new one for invoice. This was with it being trucked in from 2 states over. So more than likely, you could get it below invoice if you can find one locally. Anyways thanks for all your replies. Hope to start posting more frequently here.

Thanks!

I got my 2017 Nismo manual tech brand new off the truck for 41k OUT THE DOOR... :)

Volk Z 05-04-2019 04:49 PM

Fyi. New nismo will be all wheel drive and 465hp V6 TT... the 370z prices will drop a bit once the new z35 is released.
