Great deal. :yum: If no other options, sounds like ~900 over-invoice.

Two questions: (1) which dealer and city? and (2) Do you feel the dealer was more willing to give a good deal b/c it was ordered?

Wonder if dealer gets the hold-back $'s and some $'s over invoice they would be more willing to deal on a ordered car that does not have to sit on the lot.

Thanks.

1) Brown's Nissan at Fairfax, VA.

2) I don't particularly think that they gave me a good deal because I ordered it, I think it is because I have visited their dealer couple of times for 370z information and the floor manager and salesperson knew me.

I don't really think there would be price discrepancies based cars ordered compared to cars that are sitting in lot...but I could be wrong...

Fun42 01-07-2009 09:55 PM

Thanks. Enjoy your car. :driving:

did you get a good interest rate?
i know it differs with pepople but alot of the times
they will give you a good deal on the car
but then you might get raped on the finance department.

Congrats to you as well. That's a kicka** interest rate. Just curious what's ESL? I can't believe they charge $500 more for yellow color:shakes head:. But anyhow, enjoy your ride and feel free to write a review.

The interest rate totally depends on your credit score.

I asked if I can get 2.99%, and salesperson told me it was only for Sentra and altima sedans...LOL, no 370z will get that kind of rates..

Me and my dealer worked out the estimated monthly payments, so I know what I will be paying..

I am getting 6%..

ESL is "Credit Union" which I'm already a member of.
Since my exsisting loan is 4.94% I'm getting the same with the Z.

No not positive when I will get the Z told apprx. 6 weeks maybe less?
Actually I found one that has all I want & trying to work out details to get it now?

NA&CH 01-09-2009 11:04 AM

Credit unions are the shiznit. I walk in and tell my lady what I am buying(car wise) and I walk out 10mins later with a 4.9 rate. Best thing I have done.

Chris

I am with you on the credit union. I bank with them and hope to get a good rate to compete with Nissan financial. My credit rate is over 820 and hope I will get the rate at the lowest possible.

You got $36,900 for base + sports package? Does that amount include taxes and freight?

I got $31,500 without any taxes and freight.

Even the total including taxes and freight gave me about 33,600.

To correst..I am paying $36,900 for Yellow, Sport, Touring, AT, floor mats, illum door panels, trunk mat. MSRP is about $40,300. I have contacted over 50 dealerships just in the couthern california area and only a few offer around $400 over invoice and most are MSRP only. This price is right at invoice and maybe even a bit lower. I got lucky with the mis-quote on the $500 charge for yellow.

Where can you do this at? I've been shopping around and haven't seen anything where if you have 750+ you can name your rate. If that was the case with 820 you should qualify for 0.9% better yet why not name yourself 0.0% APR? Not trying to put you on blast but even with Credit Unions I've only found a hand full of places that offer as low as 3.75% APR for auto loans for 36 months and that's with outstanding credit. Anything longer than 36 months it just gets higher...

doc 01-29-2009 12:32 AM

any military people out there. try pentagon federal credit union. they are offering
4.75% APR* for 60 or 72 months. not too shabby

KenBT 01-29-2009 06:13 PM

doc...

check out the navy federal cu... i think LOWER
