Brand New 2009 370Z Touring/Sport/Navi/Auto $41,445 - $7000 off MSRP = $34,445.

That is the best deal I could find, but I don't want a loaded car. I want the cloth interior. Problem is the best deal I could get a Base/Auto/Sport is about $35,045 - $3500 off MSRP = $31,545.

The larger discount on the Touring makes it a much better deal. For $3000 more I can have Touring and Navi.

Actually, I wanted to get a used one, but people want more for a used one then for what I can buy a new one for.

Thoughts? Is it worth the extra 3K for Navi and Touring? Or try to find a base with a bigger discount?

Do you need OEM navi? if not, base w/sports is the best deal IMO. You also like cloth seats so I'd suggest you to get the base w/sports. The sports pack gives you bigger brakes, Limited slip differential, front chin, rear spoiler and a set of beautiful RAYS w/performance tires. You may regret not getting this option later. The price you've mentioned 315xx is LESS THAN invoice! GO for it.

Both are great prices. but for the 3K extra I would get the fully loaded car. I did. What dealer are you getting these prices from?

How many miles are on the car?

Sean 11-23-2009 12:29 PM

These are ad prices in the Los Angeles Times Sunday paper. It's from a dealer in Riverside county area.

ZERO miles on the car.

I would take it in a heartbeat. I paid nearly 39k for just touring and nav, though I did buy mine back in january.

The paper are usually loss leader prices with a catch, pay attention when you go in for an OTD price. May end up with a higher price than you where expecting. Would like to hear the out come when you go in. Updates please

Ya, you just know there is a "dealer fee" that they "neglected" to mention in the add.

What? Car dealerships never lie or scheme! They are the most honest people I have ever met.

ok srsly...
I will keep you posted, problem is I want a different color, the discounted one is white. The will only do ~$6500 on the color I want, with a higher MSRP. But yeah, I need to get the full details. They might need to charge me for the $1000 nitrogen in the tires.

For this exact combo, with exactly the same accessories, how omuch below invoice is this number coming to? Have you checked that?

I think they said it was below cost about $2000-3000. They know it's a loss but they need to unload them. You lose on some cars and you make more on others.

dudafunk 11-25-2009 08:28 AM

Wow that is impressive. Congratulations!
I've only reached $500 below invoice so far in my negotiations..
