Nmac 3.99%
NMAC has an equity program that will run Oct. 30th- Nov. 30th
If you are a Tier 0-1 at 80% LTV you can get 3.99% for up to 63 months. Just a heads up. |
Good looking out, Lou!
|
Through October 30th? That's today and a short lived incentive! :)
|
Opps...thanks. Nov. 30th

I went to a local dealership here in the Bay Area. We were all squared away with the price and as I sat down w/ the Finance person, they quoted me 6.75% on my loan! My wife and I have great credit (780, 806 respectively) and they wouldn't give us the 3.9%. According to their Finance and Sales Manager, that special from NMAC wasn't in their systems. I told them about this forum post as well as another dealership offering the same 3.9% in the local newspaper but they still wouldn't do anything. He said that it was all "ploys" to get people into their dealerships. I highly doubt that...
Unfortunately, I had to walk away. Man it was hard to walk away from that car. Looks gorgeous in person! Pics don't do it justice! |

I bet you'll get a call soon saying they can get that financing. If not, check out PenFed online. 20 min app process for 3.99% financing. You deserve at LEAST 3.99% with that credit. Good luck! |
There are just trying to hold gross on you in the backend. The dealer probably has a buy rate of 4.75 and are holding 2 points on you.
There is 3.99 if you are at 80% LTV. So, depending on that you could be in the mid 4's |
Thanks Fusz. I figured they were trying to make money on the loan since they were giving me such a great price on the car. At this point, I took Matt's advice and searched rates at my local credit union. I just submitted an application for a loan at 4.24%. It's not 3.9% but close enough.
I felt really insulted at the dealership and wont go back there (even though they had the car w/ all the options and color I wanted). I was really trying to be as professional as possible with them. I even asked them to call the other local dealerships to confirm the 3.9% special. They wouldn't do it. I guess I'll be searching nissanusa.com again.... |
Fusz, I'm no math genius so I wouldn't know where to begin with all that, can you break it down in lamens terms how to figure out if I'd fit into that bracket?
Thanks. |
NMAC bases retail advances on MSRP. So if you are 80%(Loan) below MSRP and a 750+ becon Score you will qualifiy for the Specail 3.99% rate up to 63 months.
Hope that helps. |

So I have some great news! I went to another local dealership here in San Jose. Although they didn't have the car I was looking for (Base Silver w/ 6MT & Sport), they were able to do a dealer-find while still matching the earlier deal from the previous dealership. Not only did I get the same great price, I was able to get better than 3.9% financing because I bought the maintenance package (he was able to get me 3.49% financing).
They're in the process of driving the car back and detailing the Z. It should be ready in a few hours!! I can't wait!! Is there anything I should be looking for during the inspection (outside of the normal stuff like chips & dents)? |

Thanks for the heads up Chris! I wouldn't have thought of looking for that!

Liutang...iam in the bay area..what dealership did you go? thanks in advance
|
Premier Nissan in San Jose. Selection is pretty limited now but they're definitely working really good deals right now. I worked with Helmut and Ben.
|
I was there at premier last night and went for a test drive with rod. he's a really nice guy and no pressure at all. they are offering some great deals right now. it's very tempting...
|
I am interested in the good rate Liutangclan obtain. I have been shopping around the bay area since August and never heard of this good rate. wonder if this is dealers' way to clear the 2009 models. Hope the rate is still good for the 2010 when it comes out next month? I know that it ends Nov 30th as Lou had said. I guess I answered my own question.
|
It is good for all 2009-2010 Nissan Models.

Correct. Who knows if they will continue with it in Dec.
|
Hopefully it will be here in the March timeframe lol Otherwise I might have to look more seriously into Pen-fed...
|
Pen-fed is a great deal, I would always consider that.

Thanks |
I just bought from same the dealer LiuTangClan bought from and the 3.99% is gone. they let me take the car and gave me 5 days to get them the money. I spent all of 2 minutes with Captial One and it was a done deal at 4.12%. I wouldn't waste the time with the dealer financing.

BoA says 3.70% but not sure how true it is.. in the sense, maybe very high scores may be needed for this rate when you actually enroll?
|
Harris has 3.49 I believe
|

|
