Touring with Sport pack
dealer offers me 35500, 09's. has 500 miles on it.
is this good price? |
Invoice for the Touring model by itself is $32,639.00, add 3k to that for the Sport package, sounds about right, I'd try to get it down to $34,800. I think they'll work with you because its the end of the model year and they need to make room for the 2010's.

:iagree:
You're in the ballpark but you should be able to do a little better. Edit: I'm assuimg the car is still being sold new even with the 500 miles. If it's being sold as used (previously registered) you should be able to do much better. From my experience new cars at the dealer with a few hundred miles on them were ususally driven by the dealership management as their take-home cars. These guys drive to work and back like the rest of us, and for the most part it's unlikely the car was abused. The extra miles should be worth something in the deal, however, like accessory or maintenance credit (ask for something specific you are interested in - example: oil changes). |
yea decent price!

just this weekend I got quoted 35000 for touring/sport/nav.
so you prolly can get something better without nav |
^Not a bad price at all.

I'd offer $1500 below invoice. If they won't bite, keep in mind you can walk away and buy a new 2010 Z for invoice at the right dealership -- it will be worth more and be more refined than an '09 (won't be first model year). You have to assume the car has been BEATEN for at least 1/3 of those miles. |
