Presumably by that logic, "COUPE 370z SPORT" and "COUPE 370z TOURING" are also different, though and it only applies to base models?

I guess they could; however, I think the distinction of them saying COUPE 370z would be that there is a ROADSTER 370z as well. But we all know how dealers are :stirthepot:

Almost certainly they are incorrect. I suppose it is up to the dealer whether they want to participate and to what degree maybe, but 0% APR on a NISMO when they are offering it on the 370Z Coupe is absolutely do-able.

Would seem counterintuitive certainly. They wouldn't give me the 0% even though even though I'm over 700 on credit. I know Nismos have been sitting from regularly prowling the Nissan web inventory (which I know isn't exactly up date, but showed listing in what I wanted color and accessory wise on at least two separate dealers) and the one I picked was there almost 2 months before I showed up.

I called a few dealers but some of them said no to it applying to the 370z's - ???

Anyways, just did the math and it won't make much sense to me:

Car price is say $30,000
$5000 (down payment):
Over 60 Months: ~$84/month
Over 72 Months:~$70/month

Example A)
No Money down
0% APR @ 60 Months = $500/month
Interest: $0.00
total price of car: $30,000.00

Example B)
say I put down $5,000 down
$25k @ 2.5% APR @ 72 Months = $374/month
Interest:$1947
Total purchase price:$31,947.00

Example C)
0 Down
$30k @ 2.5 % APR @ 72 Months = $450/month
Interest:$2,337
Total Purchase Price: $32,337.00

If we look at these comparisons, the long run I would obviously be paying more money, but let's be honest here. I will NOT be able to get a Sport Tech 2015 Coupe for $30k drive out. I would be closer to $32k.

-----------------------

That aside, this is what I am thinking, find a 2013/2014 with low miles and find it around $27k drive out:

$27,000 Drive out
$5k down
$22k financed @ 2.5% APR @ 72 Months = $329/month
Interest: $1714
Total Price paid: $28714

Taking all this into consideration, I will probably end up paying the car off much sooner, so I will get less interest charges.

I think I confused myself with all that up there but whatever, good to think it out.

You might want to also add a few thousands for taxes and fees, that gets factored into the financing as well.

the 0% does not apply to roadsters, but all 2014 & 2015 370Z coupes (Nismo included) have the 0% for 60 months with good credit

if you sell your car in say 4 years. the new car will be worth more also being 1-2 years newer and 10000-25000 less miles on it.

ive seen quite a few Z's in austin lately. welcome to the club : )

s5690 04-30-2015 01:13 PM

i just got mine at 0% 60m, 0 down. i heard it's regional/state thing, so depends on where you reg the car, you could get the deal. if i could've found a used with the options i wanted, i would've gotten a used one but there was just none left. i heard 2015/16 don't offer touring with sport anymore so it was pretty hard to find a new old stock...
good luck
