Invoice: $32,348

In my area, the $1000 rebate is not active, so I couldn't use it, but being within ~$250 of invoice, I bit.

Crown did a good job. It was a fair amount of work but they were honest with the invoice price when they realized I knew what the invoice pricing was (their initial offer was ~$3000 over invoice...whatever). As part of the agreement, they agreed NOT to charge me their ~$500 documentation fee. They told me that the fee was how they made money and I told them that's not true and they made the holdback. Eventually they dropped the dealer fee altogether. So, final price was $32,591 + TTT.

+1 rep for textbook deal in a buyer's market - great job:icon18:

Oh btw, wtf...... $500 for a "documentation fee" :roflpuke2:

crown is where i got my GTR at. did you meet the GM jeff hicks?

junior_jam 10-12-2009 12:34 PM

No, the manager never came over, so I wouldn't have met him, even if it was Jeff. I was a little surprised the manager didn't at least come over to thank me for my business. I ended up working with a salesman named Isiah.
