Nobody is saying that because such and such flaw exists, the entire car is therefore crap and nobody should buy it. Settle down, Beavis.

And just because someone considers it a flaw does not mean it's a flaw to others. Some people want wipers in the back. I don't. Some people don't want Syncro Rev. I do. Some people don't like the headlights. I do. And so on...

This thread is most likely never going to be finished.. for someone to come on and say the design team wasnt thinking... should really re-think their words before stating a fact like that... Yes certain things could have been put together better.. but like someone said.. this is a 30k car.. not a 100k porsche.. Now on the styling aspects.. if you dont like it.. so be it. Not everyone in the world likes the exact same thing. There is no point in coming onto the forums saying that nissan is retarded because of what they did to the Z. I think they made and all around better looking and performing car.. Then.. some people complain about something as little as a digital speedo... Yes its a nice feature but some people made it seem as if it was a reason not to buy a car.. if you want that feature go buy a porsche turbo.. heh The only thing i do agree on is the heated mirrors.. although i do live in socal so it doesnt present much of a problem.. That is something they should have included.. The rear wiper issue... Is not needed.. for one its ugly IMO and isnt a necessity.. plenty of coupes with very slanted rear windows survive without one... just .02

any pics of the LED Gauges with tinted side windows and rear windshield ???

if the sides and rear are tinted, it should be easier to see, it's not like sunlight fron the front will blind out the Gauges...lol

I kinda noticed it was hard to read on my test drive of the 370 but this thread has me thinking.
What if you put one of those anti glare sheets cut out to fit the gauge area? My Apple MacBook
came with a glossy screen that is completely unreadable in direct sun but then I purchased an
anti glare film and now it is just fine in direct sunlight, well just my 2 cents as far a a temporary fix plus the film is barely noticeable.

Great idea

How does your screen work with polarized sunglasses? I put an antiglare protector on an iphone and could not see it at all with my sunglasses.

This is a good idea, but it might be somewhat difficult. You see, unlike the speedo and tach area, this gauge area isn't behind a flat piece of plastic lens covering. The whole thing is open. So there's no easy way to just cut a circular piece of anti-glare and cover the entire thing. Like you can actually touch the individual LEDs with your finger. It'd be kinda akin to being able to touch the tach needle (if there were no cover).
