SoCal Centrally Located Meet - Diverse Edition

This meet was different than most of our meets this year because (1) it was actually warm at night and (2) some friends of mine from the Rotary community were able to host their monthly meet alongside us which made for a great diversity of cars.

Starting out with Will's Z and his brand new Enkei's!

http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-oJ4g5cUGIv...0/IMG_5737.JPG

I really love the look of aggressive fitting black wheels (everyone who knows me knows this!)

http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-QBsaI5AwPE...0/IMG_5739.JPG

Andy was able to make an appearance with his really nice M3 on TE-37 SL's!

http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-BEFmALI9Yg...0/IMG_5748.JPG

Kyle has now made it two meets in a row that he was in attendance

http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-n2uMV7hwU-...0/IMG_5752.JPG

This month his Z was sporting a new set of Red Akebono calipers to go along with the 2-piece rotors that he had last month

http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-tPyQW4Mcan...0/IMG_5764.JPG

http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-2pPgzzh6OX...0/IMG_5766.JPG

I got a quick snap of Roberts car right before he left, he made the drive out from BFE and it was good to see him for a moment

http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-0L8R2QgBz6...0/IMG_5754.JPG

Always good to see the Godfather in attendance

http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-GKAElxKX_x...0/IMG_5760.JPG

This was a really nice FC that I hadn't seen before, this is my favorite generation of RX's

http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Eh2DtdyKPq...0/IMG_5763.JPG

This was a new attendee, Gun and his clean silver Z on SSR Type-C's

http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-tnFn0f7gW2...0/IMG_5769.JPG

Regular attendee and his Z32 roadster

http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Edy2MElmJy...0/IMG_5770.JPG

You can always tell it's Haris's car since he refuses to back in while parking lol!

http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-I8FnDG0pVu...0/IMG_5772.JPG

New attendee with a really cool setup, great paint color too!

http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-I4lI8dZ7Uo...0/IMG_5776.JPG

Michael with his 40th on Meisters, couldn't get a good shot since he was parked in the shadows

http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-8G4bYovmvz...0/IMG_5777.JPG

This was a cool Miata, I wish I would have snapped more pics of it

http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-2s-rJNyHlc...0/IMG_5780.JPG

I haven't seen Jeffrey's RX-8 in a few months but I finally got to snap some pics of it by itself and took full advantage

http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-x8904JEhqs...0/IMG_5790.JPG

Great combination of white Work wheels and aggressive rotors

http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-HoCpPOl1-s...0/IMG_5794.JPG

I haven't seen Eugene's FD in awhile, I was glad I could snap a pic of it though!

http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-c08fX7WH0i...0/IMG_5797.JPG

I was also able to get some pics of Joe's really clean S2k on Regamasters, this things was really cool

http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-7o90wdJUxI...0/IMG_5811.JPG

If Darth Vader drove an S2k, this is what it would look like. I really like the overall execution. Notice the Spoon dolphin-tip exhaust!

http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-kYVu93E3sT...0/IMG_5813.JPG

CJ was another new attendee who brought out his near-new BRZ with the leather seat package. I really liked it!

http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-1Eg2nkYzn_...0/IMG_5817.JPG

Good to see Peter make another appearance all the way from Oxnard

http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-z--J_ET3l9...0/IMG_5823.JPG

I haven't seen Miguel's car in a few months, forgot to take a look at his new tires that I helped him order (darn!)

http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-r_BfWVpOda...0/IMG_5827.JPG

I never get tired of seeing Andrew's Z, just realized how low he has it sitting!

http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-l03Ld3JIps...0/IMG_5834.JPG

Those of you that know me also know I am a big fan of wagon's. Jonny was able to bring out his Legacy wagon and I was really impressed with this platform

http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-ZwpBsLOQfh...0/IMG_5837.JPG

He has big plans for the car and hopefully I wil be able to see it come together as his build progresses

http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-nmDHacg1Jm...0/IMG_5844.JPG

This was the first time that I actually got to shoot Brandon's car even though I have seen him all over the city lol

http://1.bp.blogspot.com/--glyzuPGUW...0/IMG_5847.JPG

It was nice talking to Alfredo and I was glad I was able to take a shot of his beautiful Z. I am excited to see what he ends up doing to it after what he shared to me he had done with his Civic Si prior.

http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-rs2zUHpr4D...0/IMG_5849.JPG

I spent nearly the entire day with Brian and almost forgot to snap a photo of his car before he left

http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-VPqnsMTYuR...0/IMG_5850.JPG

Finally got a good angle with Shawns new wheels, I am jealous of the fitment and can't wait until he installs his new goodies that he has planned

http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-iNQyy2MgnB...0/IMG_5855.JPG

Last but not least, my Z. This angle makes me look really slammed

Nice turnout. Hope I could make it on June 7.

Thanks Wais. Good job as usual. Thanks for the pix, you've put in a lot of your own time on these each month and I appreciate it. Reminds me about what I missed each time I no show.

Norm - you live within city limits. You could make it every month and bond with the mascot.

Nice pics Waizzz. Thanks for gettiing a pic of my car before leaving. Really nice to see the meet grow. My only concern was that I noticed there was more garbage (boboa cups) lying around. We should really be a litttle more diligent on picking up our stuff. Maybe move a garbage can closer. There are some by the shopping carts.

Cheers,
Cheech

Thanks Rafael, meeting everyone and taking pics of cars is what I genuinely enjoy so I don't mind dedicating my time as long as it allows our community to remain strong.

Great suggestion Peter, I actually walked around and picked up the remaining Boba cups prior to me leaving the meet but I will drag the trash can over for our next meet to make it easier for folks
