j/k Looks great enjoy.

brisk 01-24-2009 03:49 PM

nice gift...

dlmartin81 01-26-2009 06:02 PM

Okay, I just went to a nearby dealership to check out their new Sentra.......................haha, j/k......the new Z of course :icon17:; and man is that thing BEAUTIFUL! Pictures don't really do any justice. Yes, the car does look good in them but SOOOoooooooo much better in person. It looks even smaller in person that what I had expected. I was really surprised.

The wheels also look much better in person. Whenever I get a Z, I think I will stay with the stock ones for a little while. At least until I get most of the payments out of the way.

The dealership only had an automatic PW (that's why I'm posting here rather than somewhere else...hehe) in stock. Let me try to explain how great the car looked. It was late evening when I was there, the daylight was fading, the weather was crappy (cloudy, frigidly cold, windy), and this damn color just stood out like biatch. It looked DEAD SEXY . Of course the car was detailed and kept clean but man, you can still see the pearlescent effect from the paint. This is the only color that I've seen in person on the Z so I don't want to be too quick to judge but it's arguably the best color for it. It just fits the car well.

I don't really have much to comment on the test drive mainly because it was rush hour and where the salesman had me driving, it was kind of busy. So I was never able to open it up and play with it for a bit. Plus, the drive was short. He basically had me drive in a big circle. Oh well.....some other time I guess. But coming from driving compact cars all my life, driving the Z was a little awkward at first. In my current car (00 Civic SI) I can almost see the road right in front of me. In other words, I can see where the hood meets the bumper. In the Z however, as with most sports cars I assume, the point of view is much different. It was hard to tell how far the front of the car was. Also, when turning, it was a little awkward because I lost sight of the curb sooner than in my small compact. In my SI, I can almost see where the curb meets the wheel (haha...not really but you get the point).

All in all, the car just feels much bigger than the SI,.......which it should.....because it is a little. Bigger in the sense that it's much wider. It's actually smaller length wise, which I was surprised. Anyway, it was a cool experience non the less. I didn't get a chance to look at peoples' expressions as I was driving because I was too distracted admiring the car and checking stuff out as I was driving. I wasn't too crazy about the 7 speed auto. When put in "manual," the responsiveness between shifts was not up to par as a true manual. I've never driven these new simulated manual transmissions (that cars now a days come with) before so I was expecting quick, snappy shifts....kind of like what you see on F1, rally, etc...

Anyway, up until this point I have been leaning towards the PG, which I have yet to see, I'm now really considering the PW when the time comes.

really interested in seeing how the gray interior looks.

bullitt5897 01-31-2009 09:01 PM

Presequel the Gray looks hott but the real issue will be with keeping it clean!!! I have sat in whites with both interiors and I chose Black... Mainly because the gray alcantara looks dirty already kinda like it has dark and light specs. also the perforated gray doesnt to me look that good up close.

Choose black it looks much better!

Quick question - how does the new Pearl White compare to the 350z pearl white (pikes peak - I think?).

Thanks!

bullitt5897 02-01-2009 11:08 AM

its got alot more POP!!!

tvfreakazoid 02-01-2009 02:30 PM

Personally I think if you get black or white, the permisson int would look the best. I know I spelled that word wrong.

370z 02-11-2009 03:42 PM

i can never get tired of the pearly white

Which photo angles are you looking for? We have that combo.

brisk 02-14-2009 12:37 PM

OH! Thank you!

First off how is that combo?
And if you can get me like multiple angles/shots.
One from the front and one from the side with the doors open and such.
Since I can't see it in person...pictures will have to do before ordering.

That would be awesome!

Pharmboy333 02-14-2009 02:58 PM

That pic above has been my desktop since the day I saw it.

LiquidZ 02-14-2009 03:01 PM

Anymore PW pictures?

It is a break from the standard all black interiors we typically purchase—and we like the change. About the only issue I see is the faux suede at the door grab as it will get dirty over time. I will be applying fabric protector on those areas; I would have preferred black leather-clad grab areas. The gray is such that it will make a big difference first sitting on the seats in the summer! Quick shots, but at least this should get you going.

Thank you again.

Wonder why not a lot of people opt for the gray interior...

You're welcome. We have no regrets at all with this color combo. Sorry, about the point-n-shoot pics, but I was in hurry this morning, and obviously the colors are not given the justice the deserve. My wife and I both feel that the gray is "classy."

brisk 02-14-2009 04:13 PM

yes it looks very classy.

again thank you for taking time to take the pics.
appreciate it.

presequel 02-15-2009 01:55 PM

wow, i think i like it. now i just need to see it in person to confirm.

i think my main concern is that it would look dirty/wear faster than the black leather?
