im in loooove with the blacked out head lights! gah. is it an easy job? i read thru the diy thread for it, but the baking part has me a little worried :/

KaienZ34 02-13-2014 09:00 PM

If your just painting them and not doing the LED's it's not hard at all.

Hahaha yes cooltoy you win :icon17: I was driving down the highway when a ladder fell out of a truck bed and I had no room to stop or swerve out of the way and so I drove over it.... I spilled half the coffee and chipped my front lip in the front, cracked it in the wheel well area and my test pipe's bolt came loose and eventually popped off..

:iagree: I can't believe the test pipe bolt also came loose

If you use some warm water on a damp cloth it should remove all the stain, if not that try a little bit of isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) or a leather cleaner product, followed by the damp cloth  should be all gone after that

DatsunFTW 02-14-2014 11:00 AM

Thanks. Already did that after I shot the pictures the other day :P

Thanks BC :tiphat: guess I entered the wrong pics!

I entered pics from the past driving season, these pics are older then that :ugh2:

KaienZ34 02-14-2014 12:35 PM

No drink spills in the z, cause no eating or drinking in there. Plus that's were I put my phone so I can plug it into the stereo and easily hit skip to the next song.

cooltoy 02-14-2014 12:38 PM

Yep, no food or drink allowed in the sports car.

KaienZ34 02-14-2014 12:40 PM

Not mine just made it bigger, the amuse kit looks weird I guess it's the ebay/ams/copy of a copy one, well whatever.

that's cause he is missing the wing and the accent black is missing where most other people have it black, most reps look pretty decent :ugh2:

I always think the amuse looks weird with no wing :ugh2:

KaienZ34 02-14-2014 05:08 PM

I'm willing to bet it's not one of the good reps like the CS/ShineAuto or AreoJacket.

probably right

IMO the accent black or CF has to be in the standard locations or it just looks off :icon14:

do it right or don't do it at all

I second that emotion.

KaienZ34 02-14-2014 08:22 PM

The front is super rounded and less sharp, and those sides are surely the glue on covers and not the replacements. After seeing a few examples of the amuse in person it's easier and easier to spot the super cheap crap knock-offs compared to the real deal and well built copies.

cooltoy 02-14-2014 08:27 PM

Are you in a bad mood? Hope this makes you feel better.

I can't tell all my insider info, but every now and again some may slip out. A few drinks help, or does it hurt? I can't remember now.... Attachment 83908
