That thing on the drivers door looks quite out of place

It is the last piece of trim (door ding guard) that the dealer installed in 1971 and it used to run the length of the car on either side. We are slowly prepping the body for paint and that piece is a low priority.

We are too busy making it go fast and corner like a slot car to worry about such trivialities at the moment.

Looks like an extra from the Mad Max movie!!!

Track day happened. It wouldn't stop. It was happening constantly. Then the car started evolving on its own. Shedding its panels and growing fins to help it adjust to the environment's nature and hunt prey. Creatures called Miatas roam the lands. The Z became agile and aerodynamic to put these creatures in their place on the bottom of the food chain.

Better of with the stillen bumper imo, those holes are something a accent 97 would do.
