My new wheels... SSR Type-F
 

Just got them... mounted same day. For anybody that doesn't like black wheels because they think it gets lost with the tires... you can keep those comments to yourself thank you very much. =P

maybe the lighting had something to do with it getting a lil dark.

Lol! In any case, lighting was not ideal when I took those pictures with my iPhone. They look sick in daylight for sure.

Still love those wheels, I'll be getting that set anodized so they'll be looking pretty sweet soon.

Any of you guys think I should smoke out the tail lights to complete the look?

I think it's amazing how these wheels make the car look like it's ready for the track. I think that's what appeals to me most about flat black wheels, the low-key finish just seems to scream that the car means business.

A couple of close-up shots of the wheels and an extremely angled shot so you guys can sort of see how flush they look in relation to the fenders.

personally, I'm not a fan of dark tinted taillights, (not to mention the safety/legal issue created by dimming your brake lights).

I think the red tails with the black accents (wheels/mirrors) on the white car all go nicely together.

I hate black wheels!

I couldn't agree more.

A friend just pointed out to me that it takes emphasis away from the wheels and gives it back to the car so now people will notice the car first then the wheels which is just how I would like it to be.

It really ties your look together as well with all of your black accents too ;)

Nice to see you got the wheels on, Rynil. They look great!! I'm not a fan of black wheels on black cars, but on a white car they look awesome. Your vinyl really adds to the track-inspired look. I think some red brake calipers would look awesome :D

Thanks for choosing Vivid. If you need anything else, let us know. I wouldn't smoke the tails personally. I think the contrast of the red tails against the white paint lends itself to the look of the car. The red and black of the vinyl pops against the white paint, and right now the tail lights are doing the same.
