Nice pics, be thankful you got to see a silver one

MC 11-22-2008 02:23 AM

was that nismo exhaust the regular one used on the 350 or was it the all new dual exhaust similar to the OEM 370z one?

AK370Z 11-22-2008 02:26 AM

Very nice pics, Cstr! After owning 3 silver cars in a row, I was thinking about a change but those pictures looks freakin' hot! especially this one

Kinda sucked they didn't let you sit in it . One of the first thing i'd check is how the shifter feels compare to the 350Z. Was there a lot of people there?

Great pics!

Great pics!

Feels much lighter (well, than the pre-07 Z's) but longer. I did not much care for the shifter to be honest, sticks out higher than the Z33 and the space between shifts seems a tad longer. Very light though.

I forgot to bring up some of the questions I asked while at the show. I went through the stand twice and asked two different Nissan reps different quesitons, not a whole lot but stuff I felt would be important to people here perhaps.

1) Can we expect a Nismo version?
Check back in 2010

2) What's the specification of the model on display?
Touring with Technology package

3) What's the expectation for people that are a little taller than your average fitment wise for the new Z?
Don't have specifics, but individuals who attended the private event hosted at the J Lounge some of whom were quite tall were able to fit comfortably in the car.

I know I asked a few more questions, but they don't stick out in memory. Not much I know, but that's what I can remember.

I think its the same idea as the Navigation package, just includes more than Navigation, which it does.

Nice pics

jaesung83 11-27-2008 03:45 PM

the head lights you think it be possible if you can put LEDs on them like the audi A4 or R8

And also y people call this car a Z34??

http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r...g/IMG_0109.jpg

cstr_Cali 11-27-2008 04:05 PM

Z34 (a.k.a. 370Z) is the internal reference used by Nissan to refer to this new generation of Z sportscar, as Z33 (a.k.a. 350Z) was used for the previous generation now being replaced by the Z34.

jaesung83 11-27-2008 11:35 PM

ooo i see... sort of like the skyline, r33, r34, n' now r35

thanks cstr cali

i was thinking imma replace the 370z n' in place of that imma put Fairlady Z, or should I put Fairlady Z34? does that make sense??

I'll tell you what: I was sure about leds in the headlights, I was really happy about that. Then I discovered they are only "holes" in the plastic. Shame on Nissan, it would have been WONDERFUL. We must find a way to enlight them

No, as you see the're not exactly "holes". They're some kind of concave spots in the plastic, I guess. But I also bet that someone's just thinking about filling them with leds...
However I wonder why Nissan hasn't thought about doing it herself. They probably didn't think about it or they didn't want to do it because it could be some sort of "Audi wannabe style"..
