2011 Nissan 350 z coupe
Found this advertisement in a local paper. Mistakes can be made but it has been advertised like this for at least two weeks. I have noticed several posts here with people saying the Nissan mechanic called their 370 Z a 350 Z. I found it hard to believe. I am a believer now:shakes head:

Yes I've seen few mistakes on the Z34 couple times.
I believe I saw it in Import Tuner or Modified Mag. They called our Z's 08 370z. or 09 350z i forgot which one it was lol... |
this................changes...................everything
|
No no no it's not a mistake. Nissan is putting the 3.5 back into the base models.:stirthepot:

so i went to nissan to get my car looked at guy looked at car said i need to come back... i came back and the guy was like ah your here with the 350z right?... i just sighed.
|
I am tired of hearing " Is that your 350? "... I just say no and keep moving
|
When I say no its a 370z, I get the blank look then I have to explain the naming convention used for the Z. Now when asked I just say I have a Nissan Z.
|
That's pretty fail when Nissan themselves (or their marketing rep) can't even keep it straight.

Do you think they know how silly they sound? Or that they're being laughed at? |
When I bought mine, Nissan didn't have the 370z in the computer system yet so my purchase agreement and other documents from the dealership say 09 350z.
|
That's jacked up
|
It get annoying to hear people say "Nice 350" or "Is that your 350?"..... I even had a guy "correct me" one time when he asked "Is that your 350Z?". I said "thats my 370Z", he says "Umm...you mean 350!?", and looked at me like I was a moron and didn't even know what kind of car I drove; me "No, hence 370Z written on the back and also has a 3.7L in it rather than 3.5L in the 350Z"......smh

Wow, what an idiot. I have had people make the "is that a 350z" comment but I cannot believe he would actually talk back to you. |
