CoolT has already got you covered. I personally like the 2015 with the old nismo wing and wheels the best.

Can't take credit for that one. It is an actual car from Florida. I do have a bit of involvement with it though. I bought the Nismo wing of this car.

I have that Nismo OEM wing as well from day one....What a well thought out
design and stops the youngsters when they find out the real price of a
new Nismo bi-plane wing from a Nissan dealership...........

Thank you again Cool Toy for all your contributions to the 370Z forum..

shermn 10-01-2014 07:16 PM

Cooltoy... any pointers for PS? I just picked up a copy and am looking at learning about it.

cooltoy 10-09-2014 10:20 AM

Depending of what exactly you want to do.

Probably best if you do some Photoshops and I can look at them and let you know how you can improve them. By PM of course.

If you are into creating something from scratch, then I can't help you there, as I am not an artist, but if you want to modify existing images, I can help.

Would you suggest starting out with one of those "photoshop for dummies" books? Literally, I have no idea where to even start

cooltoy 10-12-2014 03:19 PM

I kind of learned on my own. I just played around with different tools. Adobe has some on line tutorials. Youtube is also good. All depends on what you want to do.

Nice work. Very realistic. I like it.

Maybe add a bit of a reddish hue to the shadows to match the actual shadow colour (like under the wing). Then you would not be able to tell the difference between shopped and real.

Pick the colour of the shadow with the eyedropper tool under the wing and then use the bucket at around 10% transparency, tolerance of maybe 5-10 and start filling the shopped shadows until it reaches the right hue. Might have to undo a few times and change the tolerance up or down until you get a proper fill with our filing too much or too little.

andrewbennett 10-12-2014 04:39 PM

Isamu, when are you gonna get on that kickstarter???

Gunmetal Nismo with Red Wheels

My 2014 Gunmetal Nismo:

Attachment 95529

I'm thinking of putting red wheels on to bring out the red accents:

Attachment 95530

I can't find a pic anywhere to see what it would look like. If someone has seen a pic or could PS these wheels onto my car or can PS the white car to gunmetal I would put you on my Christmas list, and I'm very generous. :)

Bluebatmobile 10-13-2014 03:24 PM

Youtube! As some one who picked up photoshop a week ago, I can now use the pen tool (and even make curves!). :icon17:
