Europe requires it, and Nissan is to cheap to change it for the US. So it is just a cap, but I see the "Euro Brake Light Mod" becoming popular....

I'm planning on putting a LCD monitor there. I will be playing music videos on it just like they did on "Pimp My Ride" :ugh2:

oh right, that makes sense. I remember one of my buddies with an Audi has a rear fog and I always thought it looked like 1 brake light was 'on'


So is it completely non-functional on US-spec models?


I guess it'll make a nice mounting point for a laser jammer, or maybe that LCD screen that AK is talking about

Well its functional, but its just not needed on the US Spec. Definitely doesnt hurt to have a fog light if you live somewhere where thats an issue. Im sure someone will make something to cover the hole after its removed. I know I dont like the looks of it. Maybe it would make a nice location to put a tow hook :)
