i'd rather get a used 911 turbo for that money.

it'll most likely be 37-39k

That's less than a fully equipped regular Touring model Z. Sure you can pick a regular Z up for less but there just probably won't be enough NISMO's available to bargain them down. The 350 NISMO was always 1 or 2 K more than a decked out grand touring's MSRP so I'd assume this one will have that kind of price tag as well.

Keep in mind that the NISMO doesn't stack onto what the touring models have. This one works up from the base with sports package (cloth seats, stereo, SRM). I'd figure that the MSRP would range at approximately the same as the original NISMO; the reason is because of sales and exclusiveness. They know if its anything past 41k, then people would much prefer to get a fully loaded touring, but if its within the ballpark of a touring + sports 370z, then it's at it's competitive pricing. You can't add nav, leather, etc. so who else would pay that much for a track car ?

remember the nismo 350z was basically just an enthusiast trim with the NISMO parts..... but yet it was still more expensive than a grand touring

Maybe its just the light, but it looks like the LED screen in the fuel gauge is illuminated in red rather than orange? Can anyone confirm this?

I wonder if tuning options for the Nismo will be limited. The fact that it has a few more HP sounds great, but it has additional weight too.

My concern is that it has a different ECU so is a tuner going to invest in cracking/tuning this ECU given that it only accounts for 5% of sales for the 370?

Would the ecu's be that different?

Otherwise, I am torn between this and a loaded touring/sport/Nav

Edit: I am also wondering if Nismo 370z is to standard 370z as Nismo 350z was to standard 350z - that is, a VAST improvement in handling.

Remember Autech had YEARS of track-testing the 350z before they built a Nismo version. This time, the Nismo 370z came right out of the gate. How much R&D went into this nismo versus how much went into the 350z Nismo?

I'm thinking Autech has had 370Zs available to them long before they were ever publicly for sale.

I have to agree. I like everything except the front bumper, only because I think it looks to plain. Maybe if the front lip area was painted black it would help to give it more contrast and possibly look better?

If thats true, its a little out of hand, IMO...limited edition or not.

Why no color Yellow for the Nismo or Roadster?

Uh, all rear spoilers/wings are basically 'stick-ons' unless you want that fat rear to be even bigger than it is.
