There should be forum Google search right in the header bar - would make it easier for everyone to search

THere is. You just have to click on Advanced Search.

That's two clicks and once you get to the Advanced search page you need to know that there is a really skinny Google search bar above the normal search bar. I'm saying put it right in the header of the forum page template so you can't miss it. It's way better than the forum search, too.

What I'm trying to say is, the search is not in an obvious place.
