Z vs Porsche vs TTRS

I hope this isnt a repost. Looks like Fifth Gear did a segment on some of the cars we are always talking about. Give it a look

It is a repost, but with all the posts already here, anything older then a couple of days will most likely be a repost.

I didn't like the fact that they used coupes vs convertibles (and auto)... seems like an unfair compare, but that was mentioned in the other thread as well.

awesome video!

Agreed - great vid! The mix was a little off, but enjoyable watch. Though the shape is a little "blah", the Audi looks like I should've given in a look while shopping.

Even though I could have afforded either the porsche or the audi I just didn't want to spend the extra money every month on both payments and insurance.

Agreed, our "Z" is the cheapest of the trio, take the normal Audi TT[200bhp],or the base model Porsche, our "Z" sure beat them down

Isn't the Audi TTS an "invitational" car? Like the Ferrari FXX? I heard you had to first become a hair-dresser, then wait for Audi to review your licensure and mail you your approval to purchase.

Even if it was which not sure I ever seen it was invitational. The price that has been Quoated was deffently within my means. But thats not the point I was making. They are both a Huge price and insurance increase for a little performance increanse. I just didnt think they were worth the extra cash.

There is a difference affording something and choosing not to over pay for something.

I could have chosen to buy a Honda civic would that mean I couldn't afford a Z?

That's only for the A4:stirthepot:

The TTRS is a pretty sexy car in person though, at least for a TT.

Where did you get that TTRS pic? I thought it wasn't released in the US yet. It's not due here until fall of 2011 as a 2012 model. That guy must have worked some magic to bring it in or he modded his TTS with a badge and spoiler.

SmoothZ 12-28-2010 08:45 PM

Could that be a manufacture plate?
