It seems that without some clear coat it won't last very long though, you spill some gasoline once and the paint would be ruined...

on the vinyl topic, are these elaborate vinyl places common elsewhere? we dont have anything like that where I live. I see the occasional advertisement rolling on a car, but nobody with artistic stuff. I'm into tattoos, so this idea is kinda cool to me. I don't think I'd ever touch the classy look of my Z with it, but maybe I'd do a track car up.

They don't have a lot up here, but SkinzWraps is in NY. However if you want high end work, they will fly in their master installers HQ'd in Dallas. It's not cheap though...
