White or Black
I know this is really subjective, and it all depends on what I think, but I was just wondering what you guys' thoughts were on the choice between Magnetic Black and Pearl White :hello:.
If I got a white Z I would probably paint the roof black/get an overlay and definately get dark overlays for the taillights and probably go with some nice gloss black/polished lip wheels. Oh, not to mention 5% tint on all the windows besides windshield and probably a valence overlay. If I was going to go with black I would probably do dark tint, probably not 5%, something lighter and gloss black/polished lip rims. I know this is probably a waste of time, but I figure I would see what you guys thought about it  |
Black is the way to go. BUt now you will get all the gay white fan boys on here in 3.....2............1.........

Plus every single nick and rock chip is pretty noticeable up close. And "gay white fanboys"...really? :icon08: |
Def white. It was my 3rd choice (1st is mont blue and 2nd plat graph). Go to my picture albums. You'll see some great white Z pics. With the mods you've mentioned, it'll look stunning. Black is the last on my list after yellow :ugh:

I was looking to get it in black at first. Went into a dealer and tried getting it for one price. Went to another dealer which they had the 370 in white and couldn't leave without getting it....pickin it up saturday

For me, this is what it would come down to...is it a daily driver or a garage queen/weekend car? Although no other color in the world looks as good as black on a car, it is also an impossible color to keep clean, avoid revealing chips, dents, and swirl marks! I saw a showroom '09 Z in black and the swirl marks were were already there!
I have a black car now for my DD and boy is it a pain! White hides everything and is just a classy look! So I would go with white for a DD or black for a garage queen! |
Def white, it's my 2nd choice.
RE: black roof I was considering that, since I have it on my G. I've done a couple of P.Chops on the 370Z & IMO it doesn't work too well. I think its mainly due to the roof design which caps on top of the winshield, instead of flowing up from it. I'd definitely do an overlay wrap to see if you like it before painting |
Black so I can have one of the few White ones out there! hehehehehe :D
|
Here we go again :D

The problem with black is that you'll fit in with all the black cars out there. Seems like everyone has a black car. That lack of knowing what you want leaves you with the "safe" choice which is black.
But how many PEARL white cars do you see out there? A NICE pearl white car just GRABS your attention! |
I don't know what to say if you end up choosing black.
Welcome to Swirl City. Population.. you. No really though. At least in SoCal, black looks good for about an hour or two after a nice wash. After that, it begins to show dust very well. Prepare to wash and detail every week to every other week. |
black is winning
|
I am going with the White.
