40 year old....what ???
 

ohhhhh...christian's 40th anniversay z and my mb z at the track...:tup:


So i went to racelegal.com in sd tonight to run the z at there 1/8th mile track with my fiance to get some numbers before i get the tune. as i was parked to get into the gates i saw a 40th ann. roll up, brand spaken new, no plates, nice and shiney and everything. so i went over to intoduce myself. His name is Christian and had bought the 40th ann up in vegas about a week ago. gorgeous car! i asked him if he would take some shot with my z and didnt even hesitate. i know im not the best photographer but i think these came out better than the beach photos.

i know im going to get asked this sooooo....
best 60ft time was 1.9 best reaction time was 5.04 (5.00 being perfect) best 1/8th mile time was 9.39 (sometimes i miss my x haha) christian was just spectating tonight and didnt run his 40th ann. although i almost convinced him to run it haha. maybe next time. i also had a lot of problems hooking up. i had way too much air in my rare tires. i didnt have a gauge with me or compressor and didnt want to let out too much. but by the end of the night i was getting off the line better

thanks guys!!! you know im not sure. but the back is higher than the front and need to come down about a fingure width or 2. we were afraid that if we went too low it would scrape the exhaust but i can lower it a bit more. im not rubbing now since i got the alignment:tup:

haha thats great!!! i got some videos as well from my fiance filming. i just couldnt hook up, so frustrating. i only remeber running that G once though. obviously i ran him twice

the first 2 were filmed in a g35 against me and my fiance filmed by jairen on my350. i have more that were filmed in my car but i have to find the sd card

Nice, the reason I asked was just because you can definitely tell the difference in height when you're next to the 40th, whatever your height is set at looks 1000x better than stock.

thanks! the g actually got a better overall time and i could have done better i think, specially if i lowered tire pressure



well thank you. im lowered on hks hipermax but needs adjusting a bit more. i think almost anything will look better lowered, but i rear end needs to come down a tad more. thanks for the compliments!!!

nah man i completely understand, i try to go up there regularly so next let me know on here and i will keep a look out for you. Plus if you ever want to get together and get some more photos let me know. I have a complete car rig kit we can play with, to include suction cup mounts that we can use up at qualcomm..
