At least this one actually sort of makes sense for the price. The gain is solid and it is very light. Look at the Zele one. Absolutely obscene price + barely any gain. It is baffling. I'd slap someone if they bought that.

And to answer a previous question, I didn't get the R1 silent because it's $4k. Hell no.

HKYStormFront 03-14-2010 08:16 AM

i lol at people questioning that price..... you should see what the amuse exhaust is for a GTR!

Vegitto-kun 03-14-2010 08:49 AM

don't really like the looks.

I am not a big fan of these type of finishes on exhausts.

Seconded

These are very sick and welded to perfection!
Quality is definetly the factor when pricing anything made by Amuse!
I am very jealous Phelan is going to be rocking these on his Z!
Keep it up with the great parts Phelan and I wouldn't be suprised if I saw you z in a magazine.

XwChriswX 03-14-2010 12:47 PM

Did you not like the F.I. Exhaust Phelan?

kdoske 03-14-2010 02:00 PM

I don't get the design but the quality of this exhaust is top notch. The price deffinately reflects the time that went into making these things. You are pretty much paying for perfection.

The Amuse system for the GT-R is definitely not cheap, but we've actually imported more of these systems for GT-R owners than another other exhaust on the market; even exhausts that are less than half the price!

But... if you think that's impressive, you guys will really get a kick out of the exhausts for the E92 M3. I'll post up some pictures in my next post.

We actually have a decent amount of our GT-R guys that feel the same way. This is why Amuse also offers the "Type C" finish which is no blue burn at all. This can be done on the canisters and tips. The titanium piping turns blue regardless even when you warm the car up for the first time, but with most of Amuse's exhaust designs, the tips and canisters will not turn blue. This way you can keep the original look from when the exhaust was first installed.

Read above, it does. There are options for no blue (Type C), half blue (Type A), and full blue (Type B). This applies to either the canisters or tips or both.
