I don't get the design but the quality of this exhaust is top notch. The price deffinately reflects the time that went into making these things. You are pretty much paying for perfection.

The Amuse system for the GT-R is definitely not cheap, but we've actually imported more of these systems for GT-R owners than another other exhaust on the market; even exhausts that are less than half the price!

But... if you think that's impressive, you guys will really get a kick out of the exhausts for the E92 M3. I'll post up some pictures in my next post.

don't really like the looks.

I am not a big fan of these type of finishes on exhausts.

We actually have a decent amount of our GT-R guys that feel the same way. This is why Amuse also offers the "Type C" finish which is no blue burn at all. This can be done on the canisters and tips. The titanium piping turns blue regardless even when you warm the car up for the first time, but with most of Amuse's exhaust designs, the tips and canisters will not turn blue. This way you can keep the original look from when the exhaust was first installed.

Read above, it does. There are options for no blue (Type C), half blue (Type A), and full blue (Type B). This applies to either the canisters or tips or both.

Dont reckon that they are going to make a true dual exhaust system for the 370Z versus the Y-Pipe design are they?

Darn it...how come the BMW gets it?? Bummer.

NewlyIMPORTed 03-15-2010 04:32 PM

what are the gains supposed to be for this system?

Powerhouse Amuse - RS Silent Exhaust, STTI (Super Tough Titanium)

http://370ztune.com/images/product_i...016eff_W90.jpg

oh wait that's not true dual rofl XD

yeah i dunno. i can live with spending a hair under $4k once in a lifetime on an exhaust...$6k was a little harder to justify.

XLR8SN 03-15-2010 07:05 PM

LOL...for the cost of that exhaust....imagine what a true dual would be. Still though.....would be such a conversation piece.

Probably one of you getting ripped off versus just buying brand xyz ...yada yada yada.

But one like the BMW version....OOooooo.

What is it for Stillen? And how much does it weigh as compared to Amuse? I think you actually gain weight with Stillen while you drop about 20 with Amuse...... Hmmmm..

I'll take my Amuse with blue tips please!!!

18+WHP.

but honestly if this thing will cost around 3/4000 il stick with stillen. yes they are heavier but this is too expensive.

Endgame 03-16-2010 10:24 AM

cool!

370Ztune 03-16-2010 11:31 AM

If you breakdown the gains vs. the cost difference, the cheaper exhaust (such as Stillen) wins every time. But you'll realize that that Amuse is in a different category entirely that many people overlook.

This is a discussion that people have all the time so I hope this analogy will help to understand where I am coming from. Anyone can buy an EG Civic Hatchback and make it faster than a Ferrari in the 1/4 mile or even around the circuit. The Civic will even be lighter and cost less than a 4th of any Ferrari on the market. But people don't buy a Ferrari purely for the speed and function. Heck, the fastest car in the world isn't even a Ferrari. To sum it up, people buy a Ferrari because it's a Ferrari. They know its fast, they know it performs, they know it is uber high quality and near perfection. Who cares if you're faster in your EG Civic Hatchback. I'm enjoying every minute of this rolling artwork.

When Amuse builds an exhaust, they're focus is on one thing; to build the best exhaust in the world and they don't let anything get in their way of achieving this. After experiencing Amuse quality in nearly every form, it's hard to have a doubt that it is.
