Test fit - Work Varianza T1S

I wanted to see how aggressive the 370z can go with some wheels. So I took the wheels from my 350z, called my friend with a 370z and this is what I got...

NYBladeZ 02-04-2010 02:22 PM

that is going to be a tight fight, I'm sure as it is it must rub a lot

fairladyZ34 02-04-2010 02:29 PM

thats a sweet 350 tho!

bullitt5897 02-04-2010 02:51 PM

Im running 20 x 9.5 +15 (265) and I rub the top of the fender liner in the front, 20 x 11 +0 (305) and zero rubbing issues!!! Except on REALLY steep declines to a level street and I am practically entering the street sideways cause I cant make it otherwise. Then its a slight rub but nothing noticeable and it doesnt even leave a mark on the tire or fender.

Love the T1s!!! for a clean set of wheels! What pad height are you running? I am running Highpad for BBK clearance... if I wasnt going to run huge brakes I could go much more aggressive. now sell the 350 and get a 370z!!!

NYBladeZ 02-04-2010 02:58 PM

what's the WIDEST wheel we can fit on the rear??

bullitt5897 02-04-2010 03:04 PM

in offset or in size? or a combo of the both? How much camber do you want to run? What series tires you want to run too?

I need some serious meat on the rear tires so I wont be going to much more aggressive in offset.

bullitt5897 02-04-2010 03:05 PM

in terms of widest wheel we can fit a 13" maybe more??? A 13" will be pushing it though...

NYBladeZ 02-04-2010 04:34 PM

wow 13" wide would be awesome, bullitt you know more on this than me what else would it take other than wheels ex camber control arms and such

INTENSEPOWER 02-04-2010 04:47 PM

13 wide sure... wouldnt it be better to go 12 wide or even 11.5 with more aggressive offset... more lip FTW!

Those wheels are teh sh*t on that Z loving it for sure!

BerkTech 02-04-2010 04:53 PM

That red 350 is HOT!

I'm glad you came into my thread. I was actually looking at your setup and that's what made me want to try these wheels on the 370. How much camber are you running front and rear with those sized tires? And are the fronts 265/30 or 35? Rears 305/30 or 35? I know for sure The front tires can go wider. Did you have to roll/pull the rear fenders to fit the wider tires? As for the disk I am running r-disk in front (bbk clearance) and o-disk in the rear (5" lip)

And thanks for the comments on my 350. I've done so much to it that it's gonna be hard to let go but we'll see..

MrToeknee 02-04-2010 06:28 PM

Btw, your Z is sweet bullitt

I for one would not run a 13" wide rim... but he asked what was the largest we could run :driving: 11.5 or 12 would be the widest I would recommend but you better be running 305+ on tire widths!!!

Thanks MrToeKnee! :happydance: boostin my ego even more lol  I dont know my current camber settings but to be honest I think the fronts are close to -2.5 and the rears close to -3. But that is just from me eye'ng it. I have some sways to install and then an alignment to get done. I will fill yall in when thats done

Love the 350z but I think the 370z suites you better hehehe:stirthepot:

It really depends on your setup and what you want to accomplish...

Lol, my friend asked me to lower his car for him. So I did via Photoshop. I didn't realize how 4x4 the base 370 came stock.

Your 350 looks amazing...love it.

cvega 02-05-2010 11:53 AM

wow haha those look so sick...those must be some custom wheels tho which means they gotta run easy around $6K...correct me if im wrong...

jmlenz 02-05-2010 11:59 AM

^ nah. You can find 20" Work T1S with tires new for around $3.5-4k. Cool thing about these wheels is that there are tons of offsets, finishes, lip type, and disk fitments so you can build your own unique wheel.

GTRFAN 02-05-2010 07:29 PM

Nice wheels!

jmlenz 02-05-2010 08:13 PM

how bout the real thing...

Very sweet 350z!

cvega 02-05-2010 10:50 PM

so even after u build a "unique" wheel with custom offsets and fitments it'll still be around the $4k area?? Im getting some bogus prices i think thats y im asking...

KillerBee370 02-06-2010 01:56 AM

If big lips and "hella flush" is your thing then all of the above look sick as hell. I personally don't think I'll ever understand it though from a track perspective.

Yessir! Rick at VIP hooked me up! Took 5 months to get them though. Ordered them with additional TPMS sensor valve stems on the inside of the wheel (no warnings in dash). Have had them now for about 3 to 4 months.
20x9.5 +15
20x11 +10

Perfect even distance front end to back end at top of tire to fender. I've notice that most wheel packages have to much poke up front on our cars.

Because it is photoshopped.....here is what they look like on my car w/ step lip....I need a drop tho, and maybe spacers since the Z is wider then my old G35 which rims came off of. Mine are only 19" tho. :shakes head:

^ nice wheels;)

Step lip FTW! If I had to reorder I probably would run with the step lip option. What offsets are you running? I hate to say it bro but 370z make 19s look small

neveucd 02-18-2010 06:40 PM

Hahaha you changed the font size and all...I know this, I agree....they came off my wrecked g35 and I didn't want to bother selling them. I want some 20"s 12" wide....mine are 19x9.5 +24 - R disk 19x10.5 +23 - O disk - Max lip
