This is amazing! It seems like a rev matching mechanism but on MANUAL transmission??? That's super impressive. I don't know if the new Z is getting this feature but if it does that will be World's First Rev Matching Manual Transmission:tup:

Automatic Rev Matching mechanism. This is available on the new G37 coupes

looks really mean! I hope Nissan comes out with a 370Z race car, like they did with the 380RS-Competition.

I really don't like this Nismo version.
The 350Z one is quite good, except from the wheels (but I prefer Amuse or Strosek), but the 370Z looks bad. The wing, the sideskirts, the front lip are way too big.

The front lip looks like the V1/V2, which doesn't really bother me.

The wing is overdone.

I can't get much from the sideskirts, but I like the V1 side skirts, both JDM and USDM. Should be putting them on my 350z soon :icon17:

REV MATCHING manual? This sound like it will afford super quick shifts if the computer will be able to match the necessary RPMs to the shifts. Technically, it will prime the engine for 500rpm per gear, whether it be up or downshifting. Does that make sense?

The front lip IS kinda big. I think you can sweep snow in the winter season with that lip :rofl2: . I kinda dig the rear view of it. I think it looks better than the "step" shape current Nismo rear but I gotta see it in person to make any comment. The S-tune rims looks pretty sweet though. I like

V1 and V2 was a very nice and subtle add ons for 350z. I am trying find out more info on how this crazy rev matching manual transmission would work. How do you think the car will sense if you're downshifting to 5th or 4th gear from 6th gear? Maybe some kind of "rev initiating" clip before each gear???

I like the wheels. I may need to see the bodykit in person, though. And where's the NISMO decals on the car?

Dav 11-09-2008 04:02 PM

Speaking about the wheels: I like them too and, guess what, since the first time I saw them, they've reminded me Lamborghini wheels.

If you look at the fourth picture it shows the shift knob moving back and forth. It also says BMW z4, which is really weird, but thats beside the point.

Anyways, the shift knob looks like if you move it to the left in neutral, the car will initiate a downshift. If you move it to the right, the car will initiate an upshift.

The mechanism is the direction the shift knob moves while it is in neutral.

That's my guess.

That's a sequential manual with a foot operated clutch (not a traditional three pedal stick shift).

o0javi0o 11-15-2008 09:21 PM

very aggressive look
