I use Mac, Linux and Windows on a regular basis. I prefer Mac, but Linux is a close second.

Vista is absolutely aweful... If it wasn't for Microsoft's miserable failure WinME, Vista would be the worst operating system I've ever used.

As for the background, it's a bit too pink for me! Not to mention that I like my desktop to look clean and less confusing. But it's all a matter of taste... I'll put together a background image later. :)
