computer > human (most of the time and depending on subject)
but the subject is on shifting and cars

My 370Z 7AT is soooo much faster than my old 2004 350Z 6MT! It's not even close. Launching the car is a snap and I never miss a shift in manual mode whereas I have missed the 1-2 or 2-3 shift many times in the old manual car. The paddle shifters let you keep your hands on the wheel at all times which in my opinion is much safer. Nothing like taking 4th gear from 50 mph to 120 mph...

Most modern sports cars with the right stability and traction control systems are very safe at 120 MPH. Problems are caused by the drivers and the environment. I rarely take the Z up to those speeds and only push the car on known good roads / tracks and in good weather. My point here is the 370Z w/ 7AT is a much safer and rewarding driving experience for me. Use that as a data point when making decisions to buy or evaluate. -FYI

Just an FYI, that MPG meter reads in "liters / 100km", therefore at idle and full load/rpm it will read at it's maximum. Letting off the throttle at high speed it will read much less.

wait, I'm a bit confused. why are we so happy or shocked to see this video? Did they improve the auto transmission from the 2010 to 2011 or are we just happy we finally found a video of an automatic trans run?

isn't there a couple of vids in youtube showing the auto vs manual 370z? and they said in 8 trials, the auto always won
