NISMO Artwork by Jim Smith

Check out what I just got in the mail from Jim Smith Commissions, one of our site sponsors. What do you think? (Mind you, I have this picture in a HUGE 400+ MB version, so this tiny image doesn't do it justice, as well as the original)

 Framing it?

Equinox 12-10-2009 08:58 PM

Of course! To give you an idea of the scale of the picture, Jim's signature is under the front passenger tire.

Nice! Is that going in the garage? I'd love to decorate my garage with stuff like that.

I know he would! I saw his website didn't have a Nismo, but it did have a 09 370z. So I wanted to get the Nismo made to complete the collection - but now that the Roadster is out, you need to get him to draw that too!

He's ThunderZ on the board, and his site is

Equinox 12-11-2009 05:52 PM

I think 18 x 24"

No problem Reagen, it was an enjoyable car to draw. That scan I gave you is the raw full size scan that can be adjusted in photoshop to look like the image I posted...just so you know.:tiphat:

Nice work, Thunder !

I'm hitting him up once my car is done.

Any idea what he charges, I'd like to get one done and put it with some other car pics I have in the garage

Really nice work!

This really is beautiful stuff. I'm sure no online picture can do a full size print justice.

John Bradley 12-17-2009 08:04 PM

Just got my poster, thanks :)
Can't wait to see the Roadster pic.
