I'm Asian, I love rice. If this is rice, give me more. I would think rice was Fast and Furious spoilers and lights. Never knew good looking stuff from respected manufacturers were considered rice.

Some people consider any cosmetic mod to be rice.

Exactly, especially when the whole "cool factor" of carbon fiber is that it's supposed to be lighter, but in this case you're *adding* weight to the car.

It's like adding a fake turbocharger under the hood for looks, when all it really does is add weight. I don't get it... :ugh2:

...but then, there are a lot of things I don't get, like dubz...

I think when people are adding little carbon fiber things like this its stricly because of looks, not weight. Most people could care less (nor be able to tell a difference) it their car now weighs a few pounds more. Some people just like the look of carbon fiber and they way it pops, particularly on lighter colored cars.

We are currently importing some Zele products for stock...if someone is interested in the carbon mirror covers please PM.

I agree with you - I just think it *looks* dumb when it's not serving any purpose. It's like this: I think a V12 Lamborghini motor is gorgeous. But put that motor in the back of a car that's actually only powered by a 4-cylinder motor up front, and I'll say it's ridiculous. You could say that the V12 should be beautiful regardless, but I think the function is part of the form, and vice versa.

Anyway, people like CF for its look, fine. I think these things are like a high-end version of the chrome wheelwell accents they sell at Pep Boys, but hey, to each his/her own...

I will now :gtfo2: and :driving:
