The Straight Dope: Is it better to fill your tires with nitrogen instead of air?

dad 01-04-2009 08:00 PM

Could you do a close up of the splash guards?

Educ8r 01-04-2009 08:02 PM

I will try tomorrow, they are REALLY nice and adds to the aesthetics.

I'm not sure. But I know one thing. I get my tires from Costco where they use Nitrogen. I check my tire pressure pretty regularly and I've never once needed to fill it up since it stays at the 33 psi and I've put on about 15,000 miles on my current set which I bought a little over a year ago.

very informative... thanks.

I LOVE the paddle shifters, the upshift and downshift are fast to me. I would have liked to test drive a M/T but I was leaning towards the A/T so that's what I got.
