hold it in gear(2 or 3) and plant your foot.... Some weight shift may be in order as well!

Ebrake doesn't hold squat...I've tried to pop the ebrake and get it to brake the rear wheels loose...not happening

You can't clutch-dump it to get it started.

I can roast my 4-banger, pinto-engine truck's tires, if I dump the clutch.

you need a manual tranny for a proper clutch kick drift, seems like all you can do with the auto is hit the gas and cut the wheel. No fun.

They seemed to do it pretty well.

Feather the gas instead of the clutch, I'd guess.
