Electric Seat Override?

So i looked through the manual and searched the web for other Nissan cars with electric seats, is there anyway to move the seat without power? I tried looking for a lever of some sort or a release latch....but no luck =/...my Nissan dealership techs aren't quite..savvy....and couldn't give me a reply yet. If anyone knows please let me know.

Yes. Remove seat, install base model seat with manual slider :tiphat:

No, there is no way to move a power seat without applying power.

Well i cant remove the seats without moving it forward, 2 bolts on the back side are un-reachable =s, that's the whole problem.

Can you reconnect the seat wiring harness temporarily?

I think kayess is the person whose car was flooded out so things might not work so easily

Oh right - crap. Are they actually trying to fix the car? Most flood cars are salvaged.

No its still not decided

I had my audio req-5 and a sealed car booklet with paper behind the passenger seat stashed there and was hoping i could find some documents from that book and no water got in there.... but...it was a bad stash location without power....-_-

You could run some power directly to the seat. Look up a wiring diagram to see which wires in the plug are for the motor, and just run power from the battery straight to the plug.

This seems like the only option, hoping the motor is still good. Ill see if i can pull up a diagram, has anyone else works on the seat motor before?
